ABOUT CASS COUNTY SENIOR LIVING & REHABILITATION
Cass County Senior Living & Rehabilitation is a Medicare certified community with 71 beds. The community is nestled in the town of Virginia, IL and is a great community with a staff that makes the home cheerful, warm, and comforting. Our residents enjoy a beautiful courtyard, excellent therapy room, and a large and open dining room that also serves as an area for activities and events. We have both private and shared rooms to meet the needs of our residents.
In October of 1950, Cora and Janie Walker, two sisters from Chicago purchased the mansion that sat right where Cass County Senior Living & Rehab is now located and named it Walker Nursing Home. In March of 2025, WLC acquired the long-standing home and renamed it to Cass County Senior Living & Rehabilitation. The skilled nursing facility has gone from being private pay only to offering services to patients with insurance.

LIFE AT WLC
From the moment your loved one wakes up in the morning, our nurses, therapists, and trained staff will be there to help them work and heal throughout the day.
Their day will be filled with three prepared meals cooked by our dietary staff. We encourage you to stop in and try the food! We are very proud of our excellent dining services. Our activities department is always up to something fun. From playing games to spending time outdoors to preparing for upcoming holidays, the staff is constantly working to provide socialization and fun for our residents. Our therapy department will work with your loved one’s physician or surgeon to determine a schedule and goals for these services. Many civic and religious organizations schedule time at our communities to entertain and worship and we are ever so thankful for the communities that give so much to our residents.
